In order to deliver tailored dementia support and home care services, we will identify specific characteristics and routines of our clients with dementia and build a personalised approach with the right companions. Our dementia carers and support workers undergo specialised training with our Living at Home with Dementia workshop. This allows us to train our support workers who are passionate about community care with cognition impaired clients at home. We build their knowledge in providing home care services to dementia clients, teaching them to work creatively with them rather than relying solely on their own experience and initial personal care assistance training.
