My Flex Care Assisted Travel Services will enable your family member or loved one to travel with an experienced Nurse or Support Worker to any appointment or outing in Western Australia, interstate or even overseas. Our Assisted Travel Service also supports NDIS travel, alongside our disability support services.

Accompanying a friend, family member or loved one on a trip may not be an easy option; work commitments, distance or lack of time may prevent you from assisting your loved one in travel. Our Care Assisted Travel service is available to seniors, NDIS Participants and privately funded individuals. With My Flex Care Assisted Travel, you can have confidence that the journey of your loved one will be a safe and happy occasion, whether to a local appointment, family event or social outing, without the need of a family member in attendance.

What is Assisted Travel

As part of our Assisted Travel Service, our trusted travel companions include Nurses and Support Workers who will assist your loved one from the beginning of their trip through to arrival and hand over at the destination. During the journey they will assist with all aspects of support, including personal care, dietary intake, mobility, medication assistance, social support and companionship. The companion will assist your loved one and remain by their side until return to home.

How do I arrange Assisted Travel

Our Care Assisted Travel service can take care of all the bookings for you, including local travel tickets, accommodation, transport and transfers and we will put together a detailed itinerary for you. You may also choose to make these arrangements yourself. We can discuss the type of travel companion you require to assist during the journey and timeframe from beginning to end of journey.

What is the cost of Assisted Travel

Each booking differs depending on the amount of time required and the type of companion needed to provide support during the assisted travel.
